In this dynamic session, led by Dr. Laura Knouse, learn how Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) affects adults, how adults with ADHD can add research-supported intervention tools to their coping toolbox, and how we can support the adults with ADHD in our lives. Resources and information shared in this session will be useful to anyone, including those with ADHD symptoms, college-aged students, and those who just want to improve their daily living skills.
Dr. Laura Knouse is a clinical psychologist and Professor of Psychology at the University of Richmond. Her research and clinical expertise focus on the nature, assessment, and treatment of ADHD in adults, specializing in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for adult ADHD. Her recent research aims to better understand the self-regulation and motivation difficulties of college students with ADHD in order to develop effective interventions. Dr. Knouse serves on the Professional Advisory Board of Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD).
